Night of the Hunter

The late, great Jeffrey Hunter (November 25, 1926 - May 27, 1969) nails every single criteria for Stirred, Straight Up, with a Twist deity status.

He could smolder...

He looked just divine in trunks...

He made a hot cowboy...

And, of course, he was the first Sexy Jesus.

Happy Birthday, Jeffrey Hunter! We're sure you and the King of Kings have a lot to chat about.

  2. We lost Jeffrey far too early. So sad. He is a much too unheralded talent. Most of the time, 20th Century Fox would give Robert Wagner the plum roles and Jeffrey got the scraps, but he nearly always outperformed Robert and his looks are stunning. Hard to believe he married that old bat from General Hospital and then died so tragically.

That made me laugh out loud. Can we put that in his official bio/obit?

  4. I mean, I'm usually very fond of vintage soap opera divas, but I don't think that Emily "Nurse Jessie" McLaughlin was ever very attractive or really any good, though I guess she did something right to stay on the series from when it was called "Cave Hospital" up until the 80s or 90s... LOL
